Here Comes the Rain Again

Back into the fold at home & that means the inevitable, being back at Fawlty Towers. In the great words of 30 Rocks Liz Lemon, 'Blerg!'

Busy morning at work today, 150 guests hanging over for breakfast from the hotels weekend antics. Rather hectic but with at least one or two of the staff working hard, we managed fine, & the rest of the day was a matter of cleaning up in the wake of all these hungry, traveling golfers. Tremendously thrilling I'm sure you can imagine.

The rain & thunder set in later for the evening. As you can see we're still flying the flag as a last hurrah to the Olympics, even if it does look how we all seem to feel, rather sorry to see the Games over. Much like our British Olympians, we struck gold in picking last week for our hols - the 1 week out of 52 when the weather was great! I'm not complaining, I'm now set to spend the rest of my days working inside, at the worst hotel in Britain. Wonderful.
