Sunshine and heavy showers

The weather man last night advised us that we should expect sunshine and the occasional heavy shower today.  He was not wrong.  We had lovely sunny drive up into the Peak District this morning and then encountered a really heavy shower at about lunchtime.  We stopped for lunch at the Bluebell Inn just north of Ashbourne and had one of their superb pies and chips - highly recommended.
