Clematis - gentle.....

It's been hot today, 25C and ever so calm, certainly feeling it after some wet cold days which spring has dished up so far, perhaps one out of the box so to speak as tomorrow it's predicted to be 14C! It's not worth thinking about :)

I'm overwhelmed and very touched by your lovely words, stars and hearts for yesterday's little honey bee on lavender. I thought he/she was a little cutie, all soft and fuzzy and you thought so to. Thank you so much, your words are truly appreciated :))

Mum and I headed in to see R today. He was snoozing in his chair in the lounge on our arrival but woke up and told us it was a lovely day, he was enjoying sitting out in the sun and it felt so warm. We smiled as here he was sitting indoors but quite contented which is all we could ask for. We had a few laughs with him and his thoughts were mainly on food, remembering the fish n chip's he used to buy and also the lovely gourmet pies with good sized chunks of meat. Before he could ask us to take him to buy some, we diverted the conversation. He remembered a trip to England and staying with mum's cousin and her husband and also a trip round the continent, we got big smiles during this conversation. But out of the blew he couldn't remember mum being his wife...dementia is such a cruel disease, we take the good and hold it close.

A little mall shopping, lunch and our usual grocery shop, the cooler parts of the supermarket were most welcomed today.

A lensbaby clematis with +4 macro, last year this vine was in a hive of activity for the bees, not one bee has found it this year, perhaps I'm being impatient or as hubby says perhaps there's better offerings over the fence :)

Happy Wednesday everyone :)
