RED ROOF COTTAGE

Well, what a busy day it has been today, and we're supposed to be on holiday! Mind you, it is a labour of love. Let me explain. Last night, while shooting the sunset in Applecross, we were asked to take some pictures for the Eagle Rock website in exchange for a couple of nights accommodation. How could we refuse? So we headed over there after breakfast and got a tour of the area. The lighting wasn't at it's best but then we photographers are never happy. We worked the area for about an hour and a half and I just hope Cathrine likes the pics.

We left Applecross around midday, continued on the NC500 route and headed for Ullapool. We stopped for lunch at the side of Loch Shieldaig and I couldn't resist taking a picture of the now famous Red Roof Cottage. I think it must be the most photographed house in Scotland.
