Enigmatic

To the beach at Bages this morning for a little walk in the warm sunshine -- unbelievable for mid-October. I was spoilt for choice; this blip won the popular vote, but this one was a close runner-up (others right from here). After a walk around the village we went into Narbonne to pick up B for lunch at our new favourite restaurant, the Taberna Andaluza. Between the five of us I think we managed to try nearly every tapa on the menu, and they were all delicious. We even had room for dessert this time, and that was excellent too.

Dropping B off at her flat, we hurried back home to be there for our scheduled firewood delivery at 4 p.m. I have to say we were not greatly surprised when the woodman failed to turn up, as he's already failed to show once. But given that S had left a message this morning reminding him, he could have managed to phone before 7 p.m. to tell us he wasn't coming. Now rescheduled for tomorrow. Don't hold your breath.
