My pet

For Abstract Thursday our host Robert/youoregon1 gave us the theme 'Pet''. My last pet was this beautiful black lab, he's long gone, died in my arms in Singapore in 2008. After him we couldn't face the heartbreak of losing other dogs, and we knew our travelling life wasn't the best for a pet either, so there has been no new pet so far. The picture in its frame stands in the home in Holland, a photo originally taken by my late mother-in-law. Took a picture of the framed image image today and did some faffing to make it more painting like, some textures and a scratch frame.

Re Abstract Thursday, our host Robert/youoregon1unfortunately has to stop hosting this creative challenge because of other life engagements like work and family, he's been such a great host with great themes and with commenting on all entries for more than a year. I'm very grateful for all the creative inputs, want to thank him very much and hope to be able to help continue this  wonderful challenge somehow.
