Making a splash

Mike and David left home early to get Davids motorbike over to the Bike shop to have a new chain and wheel fitted. 
A super sunrise followed by a day of warm sunshine. We went for a walk along Rosemarkie Beach. It was nt  a good start though as two dogs kept coming over and annoying us and they eventually went past even when we had stopped a number of times hoping they would just carry on walking. Then we caught up with them and a Jack Russell was not very happy when they kept coming over to him. The owners did pick him up and tried to get away from them too, eventually they had to turn round and head back.
Luckily the rest of the walk was peaceful with well behaved dogs and owners.
We spotted the dolphins swimming by at some speed. The baby was having a whale of a time making several breaches. Quite a long way off but did many to capture it out of the water with Fort George in the background. We also saw a starfish in one of the rock pools and there was plenty of seaweed washed up after the high tides.
Back home and I painted the potting table and most of the arbour. I'm hoping it does nt need another coat and I could nt reach the roof !
