A skein

Yet another day reading through reams of papers and policies. As the sun lowered in the sky I headed west to meet panel and area support team members in East Dunbartonshire - in Kirkintilloch.

Despite being mid-term the traffic was heavy in parts: fortunately the journey back was much easier.

On the way there there were some wonderful views: of the Kelpies, the setting sun blushing the clouds and later the remnants of the super moon filled the sky. The klepies were lit from winning and still generated a sense of amazement.

None of these could be photographed from the driver's seat. So you had the option of the Council's modern headquarters. Or, as I stepped out and f the car and heard honking above this shot of several skein of geese overhead.

A good evening with many there despite the competition of a football match and the GBBO semi-final. Some interesting discussion around our recruitment policy, information sharing, attracting young people into the system and what it means and how we might better place the child at the centre.
