The Edge of the Wold

Coming home past Sandside and Storth, it always feels like I'm driving along a causeway to an island.  It's one of the things I love most about living in Arnside.  Today the estuary was still and mirror-like as I stopped to look at the view home.  The cloud was promising a fireworks sunset for Gus's walk, but that didn't happen today.

It was a quiet day at work, we went to the river at lunchtime to see if we could track down where the otter was snared, but we found nothing.  It's unlikely that whoever was responsible will be caught, but we shall try and get some publicity for what happened.

Thank you very much for all the stars and hearts for yesterday's and the day before's blips.  Today's blip makes three consecutive days, the first time for a long time.
