Wild horses

The plan was to shoot some autumn photos in the woods of Midwolda (Groningen, NL). Peter invited me to come along.

But once there I didn't work out the way we expected. First we saw the leaves weren't in an "autumn-mood" yet. All green and very little yellow and orange. Then we suddenly saw a group of wild Konik horses in the woods. It made us forget all about the lack of autumn colors. We quickly and silently switched lenses and clicked on our telelenses (70-200mm). The only sounds that were heard were the clop of the horses and the clicks of our cameras

After a while we were noticed by the horses and they were even more curious then we were and they all gathered around us.  (see my todays extra photo of today). Carefully sniffing on our hands and coats and even a bite in my tripod.

All and all an amazing experience with beautiful animals.
