En route to the wool shop!

Now the nights are drawing in I'm back to the twiddle muffs so it was a good excuse to dig out the thermal bike gear and pedal to Coldspring Mill via my favourite viaduct. It was a beautiful autumnal morning with that chilly edge which makes you feel good to be out and about. I stopped on Bents Lane and got talking to a woman over the wall. She was busy erecting an electric fence to protect a newly planted row of trees and hedging from her horses. It is impressive planting which will look fantastic as it matures and give an added dimension to my favourite lane. It will also be great for the wildlife.
