Up the down escalator.

People were running around Edinburgh wearing orange headbands with hand written numbers on them. At every junction and road crossing there was someone in a visi-vest telling them where to go next. Most were raising money for a charity, some were Fit as Fvck and some were obviously suffering. This obstacle in the Grassmarket seemed to be the breaking point for some, even with team mates at the top of the ramp extending helping hands and vocal encouragement more than one runner opted out.
