Paper daisy.....

.....or also known as chamomile sunray, a perennial species of the daisy family, the scientific name is Rhodanthe anthemoides they're endemic to Australia.

A central cluster of pale yellow flowers is surrounded by petal-like white, papery bracts. These appear between August and February.

I've had this plant for several years, it seems to enjoy being planted in dry sandy conditions underneath our maple tree and is always one of the first to flower as spring creeps in.

A day of cold wind, stormy skies, 5C - brrr!!
