Pictorial blethers

Final fire

I don't use my front garden path as often as the back garden, so it was with a sense of seeing something  new that I noticed the last leaves on the azalea. Like sunsets, like roses, this incredible beauty is such a transient thing; it'll take only a moderate breeze or a slight shower to dash these fiery leaves to the ground and finish them off.

So I'm glad I caught these - the last flames of autumn in my garden.
