Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

Welcome home, Fido

When I set off to fetch Fido from the kennels this morning, I was worried he might not be there to greet me.  We had agreed with the people in charge of the kennels regarding his age and the fact that we wanted no heroics.  We had also agreed that there was no point in them ringing us in South Africa for advice or information, and they should just go ahead and do what was in his best interests.

In fact, he was not only still there, but in fact, had been noticeably better.  We have just started him on some anti-inflammatory medication, and it seems to have made a considerable difference to his wellbeing.

He is now settled, and occupying his usual position in the middle of the hall floor - meaning we cannot get into the kitchen without falling over him!

As for us - we caught up with a few things.  I visited dad, showed him some photos.  We did the washing and some shopping.  And most importantly, we planned our next holiday - just a short break (via Eurostar and ICE) in Cologne for the Christmas market.
