Throw it a life preserver...

After a night of rain, I spotted this very soggy bee clinging to one of the yellow flowers I blipped the other day. I thought it might be dead - after all it was at the entrance to the Funeral Services driveway. but when I got near it with my finger, it waved a languid leg, and I changed direction smartly.

The poor little thing's fur cape was hanging in soggy rats tails around its shoulders. It raises the question - where do urban bees go when it rains?

I decided the best thing to do was to leave it to dry out in the wind and sun - there was plenty of both later.
