Otarama Wears a Filmy Shawl

The tops were visible for a short time this morning. There is fresh snow, even on the foothill at the bottom of the shot. However, there is nowhere as much as there usually is at this stage of the winter. I don't expect to see so many black rocks.

I went to Christchurch for my fortnightly grocery run. There were sheets of water lying about, but the road was dry.

After I arrived home the sun came out for an hour or so. What a novelty to see bright colours in the sunshine, and shadows, and a little pink in the sky at sunset. For some time now I've had no idea when sunset was.
