Shoe Box Appeal

KG does the driving for Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child (shoeboxes) in November.  One of his many lady friends gave him a bag of make up cases, purses, tree decorations that they had been making at their sewing circle.  They are beautifully made and I thought they deserved a blip.  Last year I think the boxes went to Syria.  A lot of boxes are collected and they load a container at the beginning of December and it can take up to 3 months for then to get to their destination
We have feed back on the children's happiness at receiving this boxes.
A quietish day we spent the morning looking for a fur coat  not real fur) that we lent to somebody and not sure whether we had it back. ( It is a photographic prop).  As a result the two spare bedrooms are now a lot tidier!!
Weather still grey but brief glimpses of sun as I write
