Yes, I know that for two weeks much of the population of this sceptred isle was gripped by the glory of Team GB and big respect to all those athletes who competed, did their very best and behaved honourably - unlike some of the foul mouthed, over paid footballers we hear so much about.

However, behind all the pomp and circumstance there is a lot that the politicians who run this country should be deeply ashamed of.

Tell me what is great about a society which includes an increase in homelessness, an increase in suicide levels, and where disabled people are being bullied and having their benefits cut or taken away completely by a company (ATOS) who is profiteering from doing this. And that's just for starters.
