Holmfirth

It was quite morning having to sort out a wide range of issues involving slippery decking, garden lights, disappearing Fairy Liquid, rodents (I came face to face with a rat), health and safety, faulty boilers, a fall restraint system and lots of other minor issues arising from building management.

Followed by a  pleasant afternoon in "Summer Wine Country" sorting out some fire safety issues in Holmfirth. The sun was shining.  Sid's cafe was open, but there was a distinct absence of woolly hats, wellies and wrinkled stockings.

It's one of those places where two roads appear side by side on the map, only to find, that when you get there, they are separated from each other by a 100 ft vertical drop.

And, for once, I came home in daylight.
