Wound up in Wexford

Roof works

The roof at the back of the house was a mixture of pitched and flat.  It has leaked, persistently, despite attempts to cure it.

So we sought further advice, and the general feeling was that it is the junctions between the pitched areas and the flat areas that were the problem.

In addition, the kitchen is very dark, and we decided to try to improve this by adding a velux.

Work has commenced (a few weeks later than originally promised).  The original intention for today was to remove the tiles, and the fibreglass outside roofing, leaving the ceiling plaster intact - but someone put a foot through it!  Oh well - it was going to come down anyway later this week.
