Father and son

My brother came to see dad today, and I joined them for lunch.

News from the roof - the builders discovered that the only thing holding up the ceiling rafters in the utility area was the overlying fibreglass roof.  The whole thing had to come down, and a new timber frame built.  So not surprisingly, the job is taking a little longer than initially anticipated.  And our current builders are more and more disillusioned with the jerrybuilders who built the extension (before our time, I hasten to add!)
