In the east

Not the most auspicious start to our journey with Chris Rea's 'Road to Hell' playing on the radio as Bailey and I left the other side but it wasn't actually that bad. Lots of lorries and a very busy M62 but we were home in under three and a half hours. Bailey slept most of the way with a few peeks out of the rear window and he was pleased to be back in his garden once we'd got the car unpacked.

A walk and a food shop done before a bit of a late lunch and a bit of an afternoon lie down. And then, the sky looked like this  - well almost, no camera so my phone almost captured it - as we walked around the big block.
