May all children be safe

On my way to cheer for Bella in her kindergarten’s “Fun Run,” a fund-raiser for the school, I heard on the radio of the bombing of hospitals and schools in Syria. I wish with all my heart that all children everywhere lived in safety, with adequate shelter, food, and health care. 


What’s happening in Syria is unbearable, intolerable, an offense to every human being everywhere. What can we do?
