High Rise

Edinburgh doesn't really have any buildings that you would describe as skyscrapers (which I have just looked up and now refers to habitable building > 40 floors), there's probably a law against them.

The Scott Monument is probably the tallest building, not too habitable though (just looked it up and there are 3 churches higher). But I love the view across to the old town as old and new buildings pop up to look back at me.

Recently there appear to be some additions and I would love to have a look around those glass panelled extensions below St Giles.
