A Small Selection

of mushrooms from the Taunus.  The big Pilz top right is about the size of a 78 gramophone record and is called a parasol.  The cap can be sliced in segments, dipped in egg and then breadcrumbs and fried like a schnitzel.  That is what is going to happen to this one.

The rest might get pickled or perhaps dried.  Plans are not yet made for them.

Having one of my clumsy days.  I keep catching things. I half expected to drop the tray of mushrooms.  I seem to go through phases of being unco-ordinated. 

Similarly I go through phases where I seem to bite my tongue and/or cheek almost every time I eat.  And that happens despite taking lots of care.  Very disturbing.

Full marks to the bloke with Mercedes in the supermarket car-park this morning.  He must have thought that the white lines in the car park were there for him to park with the line exactly in the middle of his car - he couldn't possibly just be a thoughtless Arschloch...
