Sgwarnog: In the Field

Outing

A year and two days after bringing you a Mute Swan on the Thames at Pangbourne, here's another, this time with a pair of cygnets.

It's mainly been a dull day, with one fierce thunderstorm, so the trip a couple of miles down the hill to Pangbourne was the only one we made. I've seen Kingfishers here in the past, but today only the swans, Mallard and a Great Crested Grebe. And it was too cool for butterflies.

Tomorrow we're taking the little ones into London, and it will be 5yo's first visit. The top secret destination may involve jewels and ravens.
