Days Road cottage

I'm not sure what's holding this cottage up. Maybe the borer bugs are holding hands! The roof has fallen in, the windows are all gone, and no-one would give it a 2nd glance. I love the cabbage tree standing at the corner and wondered how long it's been standing there.
And I've no idea what's around the back - and not sure I want to look!!
