Eavesdripping

I was actually talking to someone else altogether when I shot this from the hip. The Baildon bus stand is always good for banter. Each of these little glass capsules seems to have its own community atmosphere and this one is by far the most friendly. I was angling after a portrait when the bus suddenly arrived and the opportunity disappeared. It's so annoying when buses turn up on time!

I guess you could call this visual eavesdropping. The word is actually very old, its first recorded use going back over 500 years. It's barely changed in form or meaning since. An eavesdropper is someone one who stands at walls or windows to overhear what's going on inside, at around the place where rainwater drips off the eaves of the roof.
