Autumnal

The autumn colours are spectacular at the moment, even on a very dull day as today has been. A lack of rain and little or no wind means perfect conditions as the deciduous trees and bushes shut down for the winter.

Returning from my early swim this morning and marvelling at the colours, I realised that photographs would not do the spectacle justice. But later I went for a short walk from home, took a few shots, and put them into a collage.

I love this fleeting moment., I cannot let it pass without an attempt at capturing some of the colours.
