Wonderweb

We woke this morning to heavy mists for the first time this Autumn.  Zeus09smum and I were delighted because we knew that this meant the opportunity for spider web shots on our Sunday walk.  We weren't disappointed!  I chose this particular view because all of my close up shots were rubbish  as I rather liked the view of the forest in the background, through the web

Zeus was very patient this morning as we snapped away but actually he had to be: having just got over an injured paw, he has pulled a muscle in his back and been rather poorly this week so no ball or stick chasing for him today.  Hopefully he'll back on form very soon.
