AbstractThursday71 Autumn at Connaught Water

This morning I visited Connaught Water after my weekly visit to Slimming World where a veil is drawn over my weigh in..    to get some shots for today's abstract.  I have  gone with tried and tested techniques here: a shot of trees reflected in the rippling water, overlaid with a preening swan.  You might find the swan a little difficult to spot but he/she is there!  I've saturated the colour to give richness to the result but that's it today - no distortion for once.

I've had a poor week photo wise, but if I can dredge up something half decent, I'll update my journal at the weekend.

Today, had he lived so long, my father would have celebrated his 102th birthday.
