Countryside

Last day in the countryside.  All Saints Day.  Gray and slightly chilly... we had a fire last night to ward off the evil spirits and celebrate Halloween with the kids.  The house smelled of old wood smoke this morning.  Leaves are on the ground.  Things of summer are wilted and browning.  The smell of wood smoke is in the air.

Yep, feels like November.
