Paintbrush

A visit to the Botanic Gardens this morning after L and I had coffee with our younger niece.  Good to hear about her recent holiday in Australia and look at some of her wonderful photographs.

The Botanics never disappoints when I'm looking for a blip, I spotted this South African Haemanthus albiflos, also known as 'Paintbrush' in the Kibble Palace which is a wrought iron framed glasshouse. It is used now for the cultivation of temperate plants.
