Moss grows fat on a rolling stone

Stormy weather here today with the odd dry spell in which to dash out and find blip material.

As I went around the village I noticed how thick (or fat?) the moss had grown on the old sandstone walls this year- legacy of plenty of rain. I've been humming 'American Pie' ever since.

In the background is St Mary's Church (built in 1207 so probably will feature in future blips).

Just got home before the heavens opened once again.
