Mushroom Hollow

It was just starting to drizzle as I drove into town to work, but I figured that if I hurried up, I could fit in a quick visit to the Arboretum before the rain began in earnest. I was fortunate; I took an umbrella, but the heavier rain held off until my visit was almost done.

This is a corner of the children's garden, Childhood's Gate, that I don't think I've shown you before. The colors are from autumn's paintbrush, of course. There to the left is the Glass House. To the right is the Discovery Tree. And in the foreground is Mushroom Hollow, as delightful a place as I've ever seen to have a tea party (no matter what age the child in you might be).  :-)

The soundtrack: Kim Wilde, Kids in America.
