A floating carpet

Last night I went to a Wildlife Trust meeting where the talk was about the Oswestry Hills Butterfly and grassland project. I had such a surprise when a photo I'd taken of a slow worm at a training day popped up on the screen. I was credited with it too! I'd forgotten that I'd sent it to them. This is the slow worm although the picture he used was of the whole creature and not this close up.

I've been doing necessary jobs round the house today so walked to the castle for a blip. I liked the patterns and colours of the leaves that were floating on the moat.
