Knitted Dreadlocks ? Silly But Possible .

Today I sat behind these amazing dreadlocks .My itchy camera finger simply had to work . In themselves they are not silly  ( not my style but to each their own ) I left the UBahn and passing a Tchibo window there was a display of sewing and knitting goods .As one with short hair I'm wondering are these needles and yarn for knitting dreadlocks ...AK would know for sure .The colour was so like that of the lady in the train .I offer it as my Silly Saturday entry ... :
