A blip worth 'posting' .

The above post box was presented to this area by Dereck J Dean, Mayor of the London Borough of Greenwich 1973-74. This was largely due to the work of Herbert Grigers , Bezirksbürgermeister of Reinickendorf, 1970-1981 who also forged links with France and Israel .
The little harbour and area are all due to his work among many things we here, take for granted. Whether you read German or not Herr Grigers is worth looking up in Wiki. History is everywhere and much of it very positive and worth knowing.
