The Saddest day...

We witnessed the most devastating thing today - we arrived at the site of a house demolition in Silwan, East Jerusalem just a few hours after the Israeli soldiers had moved in with the bulldozers.  Four families had lived there - with 22 children in total. All are now homeless - I think that may have been the saddest thing I have ever seen....sadder than my parents or my best friend dying. This was inhumane cruelty inflicted by young men with guns on a defenceless Palestinian family because of senseless politics.
