It was the annual Linton Firework extravaganza this evening. So Ian ( pictured) who is our most splendid sound man was a key part of the fireworks team. I went a long for a few hours to help set up. Lots of people turned out to help building the fire, putting up fences and marquees, moving fireworks and generally doing stuff.

I was quite tired by the time we'd finished. The next job was moving Pops into the spare room so we can decorate her room. It took H, Pops and I hours to move her and we have more to clear tomorrow. She's planned it really well, so we have new colours, furniture, lighting. We just need to actually do it!

Then out for the fireworks and a curry.

All great, utterly knackered now though ;)
