Magpie on a post

We've had a productive day today. I made pancakes for breakfast (while chatting to Mum on the phone) and then we went to buy a cake tin for Little Miss' school project. We're making a Neptune cake - the planet, not the god.

Mr B and I then got the tidying bug. I cleaned and tidied the kitchen, while Mr B cut back an unruly tree and some hedges. I then attacked the laundry (which was long overdue a bit of an overhaul) and Mr B came to help me.

We went for a dog walk, where Little Miss and Mr B played with a ball and a frisbee and Cousteau and I pottered around.

Home for dinner cooked on the barbecue and now we're all looking forward to being asleep. Another busy week ahead. Is there any other kind?
