Von Ripper's Odyssey

Spent the day doing marking and a few other chores, then across town to Summerhall for a friend's book launch - it's the biography of a fascinating character of whom I'd never previously heard. S got a bunch of flowers and lots of hugs, D bought a copy of the book and we had a glass of Prosecco before returning home via P. Express.
