White Bougainvillea

I know the theme for today's MM is "hot" so I tried to scorch a napkin with a hot iron thinking the image would come up well in mono.  Well, these modern irons just will not scorch! The alarm starts to beep, one has to lift the iron off or it will turn off.  I did this several times and managed only to ruin a white napkin with a honey coloured burn, but not enough to get the image I wanted.  So all I can say is that Bougainvilleas grow best in a hot climate.  Mine has started to flower again in readiness for a long hot summer!  Oh, never mind, I still like the look of this in mono.
