Christmas Fayre

A friend was exhibiting at a Christmas Craft Fayre at Norwood Hall. We went along to see if we could help her set up her stall. It turned out we were too late and she was already up and running.

There were lots of people attending the fayre which must have been well publicised. Good business for the exhibitors, and presumably also for the hotel, though they were a little slow to get the bar up and running. The bar was only opened about the time we were leaving. A pity since I was not driving and so I could have partaken of something.

One of the stalls was selling Aberdeen distilled Gin. I did manage a free sample, and might have been tempted to buy a bottle though it seemed rather expensive for me. The picture shows the friends stall which was selling lanyard necklaces for ID passes as well as pom poms for bags and key ring tassels.

After leaving her to her customers, at any rate hopefully there were customers, we adjourned back to take Cosmo for a walk. As ever when the weather is fine she was quite enthusiastic about going for a walk. When we got back Cosmo settled down to watch television in the warmth, or was that us rather than Cosmo.
