Travel Day

I had the mid morning flight over to Amsterdam and then an early afternoon flight to Venice. The stop over in Amsterdam was long enough for a herring roll and for the weather to change. The top photgraph shows a large cloud coming over, and it brought rain with it.

Over the mountains the flight was quite turbulent, even the crew were told to return to their seats. The cloud cleared enough for a view of the city as we approached Venice airport.

I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade, so I have a view of the canal in front of the hotel. A quick walk around before heading to a restaurant for dinner and then return to the hotel.
