Tel's Blips

Last Day

On our final day of the workshop we returned to the River Barle at Tarr Steps to take advantage of the weekday lack of crowds. Luckily I had wellies with me so paddled upstream over the slippy boulders and managing not to fall in made some images from the middle of the river.
We then travelled to the medieval village of Dunster for a photo challenge set by leader Peter Hendrie. The village is well worth a second visit and some of the group even managed some retail therapy in a big outdoor shop.
On the way back we took in a vista of misty  Porock Vale complete with two obliging horses shown in the extras and my very last shot was a tracery of branches in Horner Plantation.
By this time dusk was falling as we returned to the hotel to say goodbyes to some of the group. Not wanting to drive home in the dark four of us stayed an extra night and a good time was had in the hotel bar.
