Hiding under a blanket

First real snow of the season on the Cheviot today. Unfortunately, no time to stop for a quick photo or two on the way to work, but I did manage a couple of shots on the way back. It was really too dark, and not quite the photo I'd hoped for, but hey ho! Only a sprinkling of snow on Hedgehope (to the left) in the blip - the mass of the Cheviot, which looked splendid this morning, is hiding under a thick blanket of snowy white cloud!

Tempted to hide under a blanket myself this evening to avoid any news of the American election. Hearing the result tomorrow morning will be quite soon enough! Hoping for the best, but fearing the worst...
