Storm Clouds

I dropped Mrs. MD and her friend off at EventCity, Manchester and went down to Salford Quays for a wander around with Polly dog.
It was quite breezy, bitterly cold and the sky looked rather threatening.
We had just returned to the car when the rain came - and it did rain -  and the wind it did blow. This lasted about an hour and then the sun came out - but it was still cold.
Salford Quays were previously Manchester Docks. They  benefitted from a multi-million pound urban regeneration project between 1986 and the early 1990s. It is an outstanding success - and a very interesting place to visit - but I have to say some parts are looking a bit down at heel, suffering from lack of maintenance over the years - a pity :-(
