Flower Friday . . . Mutabilis Rose

This morning I picked several branches from this rose to have in the house.  This evening I think they look like they are bowing their heads for the passing of Leonard Cohen.  I don't usually like the soft focus setting on my camera.  I try it from time to time and immediately delete the image but . . . this time I have gone with it.  No surprises that I'm a Leonard Cohen fan for the imagery of his lyrics mixed with his dry humour.  R.I.P

Now I bid you farewell, I don't know when I'll be back
They're moving us tomorrow to that tower down the track
But you'll be hearing from me baby, long after I'm gone
I'll be speaking to you sweetly from a window in the tower of song
